I also like this piece;but I agree with Ai-Hoshi-two spirals are too much for the top of the pendant. If you could go with one spiral then you could evoke the moon in the night sky.I also like the way trunk appears to continue under the pendant and isn't just chopped off.
but I do like it!

very nice piece.
the tree really compliments the shell...
however, the spirals at the top of the pendant take away from both the delicacy of the tree and the color of the shell. they are just too big (too big of gauge maybe?)
